This Rooster Icon Tee is a tribute to the 1989-1990 Average Athletic Club soccer team. This local, typically-underachieving soccer team, led by German natives Hércules Don Quijote and Fritz Krankenhaus, surprisingly won the 1990 USL Championship C-League, and continued to shock the world by making an unprecedented run to the Club World Cup Final. The cinderella story came to a crashing end, however, as they were thrashed by world-giant FC Barcelona, 9-0.
